Terry Morris was born in Manchester. He occasionally attended Bury Grammar School and has a BA (Hons) from the University of York, England.
In the UK he was in business, and volunteered with the local synagogue youth club. He came to live in Israel in 1983 with wife Liz and two young children. In Israel he was also in business representing European and American paper mills for over 30 years.
Since retiring he has been doing volunteer work with ESRA and is a member of the ESRA Executive Committee, serving as Vice-Chair of the organization for four years before taking over as National Chair in June 2019.
